Elizabeth Durrant of Severn Receives Award at St. Mary's College of Maryland

Elizabeth Durrant, a resident of Severn, MD, received the English Dept. Award For Scholarship at St. Mary's College of Maryland.

On April 27, 2012, St. Mary's College of Maryland held its annual Awards Convocation ceremony awarding over 80 students various departmental and general college awards for exceptional academic scholarship.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
